Here’s what we’ve got on tap at our house in the coming weeks (or months, or years):
- Paint living room, dining room, and entryway;
- Paint master bedroom and bath Done!;
- Get new rug and seat cushions for the kitchen table;
- Sew a new slipcover for armchair;
- Adjust size of ottoman slipcover;
- Draw a diagram of yard and create a yard plan;
- Replace smoke detector(s);
- Finish weeding the yard and set up a maintenance plan;
- Create a chore schedule;
- Get a grip on the operation of the sprinkler system; Done!
- Fix broken sprinkler heads, adjust positions, and fix drip system;
- Fix our too short gutter downspout;
- Fix the caulking in the upstairs bathroom; Done!
- Install new curtains in the family room; Done!
- Finish installing blinds in dining room and master bath;
- Install crown molding in the family room;
- Plant a pineapple; Done!
- Create a cactus garden;
- Identify the weird bush in the back yard;
- Change out the hardware and accessories in the downstairs bathroom [in progress];
- Finish painting kitchen ceiling; Done! and
- Paint upstairs hall bathroom. Done!
